Vintage Continental Airlines Promo Statesmen Award Travel Coins Wood Plaque Pen

This is a Continental Airlines Statesmen Award wood plaque pen stand with coins. I believe Continental Airlines awarded these to frequent fliers as they usually came with an engraved name plaque underneath the "Continental Statesmen" ornament however there is no indication that one was ever applied to this piece. The coins represent Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, Kansas, Arizona, California, Micronesia, Florida, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, Illinois, Hawaii, and Texas which where Continental use to fly in its early days. The ornament appears to be bronze or at least, bronze-colored metal. The pen stand swivels and every bit is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are a couple, minor scratches on the wood here and there. The bottom does have felt feet in each corner. It measures approximately 10" wide and 6 inches high. No pen is included.
